He is currently based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He has also published a lot of research papers on astrology in various countries across the globe. Early LifePandit Purushottam Sharma was born in Upreda, Baswa tehsil, Dausa district, Rajasthan India and got his early education in Government school of Baswa. From the early age Purushottam found himself on the path of spirituality; may be this was the result of destiny or his upbringing in the typical Brahmin family. On the way back to home from his school there was an old temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman known as Shri Bawri Hanuman Temple, most of the time of young Purushottam was spent in this temple. His dedication towards Lord Hanuman has drawn attention of 2 sages Shri Bhanwranand Ji Maharaj & Shri Ramcharandas ji Maharaj; both of them has foreseen the potential of young Purushottam & advised him to move to Jaipur. In 1987 Pandit Purushottam Lal Sharma landed in Jaipur to pursue his bachelors degree, meanwhile he joined Kwality Ice-cream administration team. After working for a while he left his job & went to Himalayas; meditated & practised Tantrism for 3 years at Haidakhan Temple under the supervision of Sage Haidakhandan ji of Shaiv sect of Hinduism. After mastering meditation he returned to Jaipur & found Guru for vedic studies Shri Albeli Madhuri Sharan ji, founder of shuksampraday sect. For further vedic astrological studies he went to Shri Narayan Das Ji Maharaj, prominent sage of Ramanand sect of Hinduism & by his recommendation Pandit Purushottam Lal Sharma took astrology by profession in year 1996. Notable WorkHe is mainly known for his astrology[2], vastu consultancy and social services. Apart from this he has ran various campaigns for water conversation in Shiva temples[3]. This work was recognized by the Rajasthan government and he was given a letter of recognition for his work on 15th October 2008 by the hands of Governor of Rajasthan Government S. K. Singh. Many NGO’s have also recognized his work in the field of astrology. He has also got letter of appreciation Dausa distict governor Mr. Swaroop Singh.
