释义 |
{{neologism}}{{COI}} A patch edit is the edited project resulting from the following process. The production professional records a singular, multi-camera feed onto a computer or an external recording device while simultaneously recording the individual camera feeds inside each camera. All media files are imported into a NLE (non-linear editing system) and synced to create a multicam sequence. The editor will then skim the timeline and replace the singular multicam feed with the more appropriate cuts from the individual cameras. For example, cutting to the wrong camera while it was shaking or out of focus or missing the timing is replaced with a corresponding clip from one of the individual recordings. The final product is exported as the master cut. The method of editing was popularized by Jay Windland of Jay Windland Creative Services. ReferencesCategory:Video EditingCategory:Multi-Cam Editing |
