PatPat is a B2C e-commerce shopping App/website that provides daily deals for Moms and Kids. They are well known for their cute and high-quality baby clothing and stylish family matching outfits.

[1]History:

PatPat was founded in 2014 by Albert Wang (CEO) and Ken Gao (COO) in Mountain View, CA. The story started when Ken was expecting his first child a baby girl, and he found the children's clothing market severely lacking in fashionable, functional options. Production and sales practices for kids’ clothes were strictly traditional, meaning that the industry wasn’t seeing any form of growth or development. To provide parents with the options that he was looking for, Ken started PatPat with a close friend and colleague, Albert.

Albert and Ken earned their master’s degrees at CMU(Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), both in fields relating to computer science and both soon went on to work together as principal engineers at Oracle. Their original intention was to use technology to transform the outdated and unchanged traditional supply chain system. By using the latest social networking and big data technologies, they were able to streamline their supply chain into a better and more efficient form of itself. In doing so, PatPat quickly gained some baby clothing market share in the first year and is continually expanding the pie.
