Paul J. Tikaslky is the current dean for the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University, assuming this position July 1, 2012. Tikalsky received his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and both is M.S. and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Tikalsky was a professor of Civil Engineering at Santa Clara University from 1989-1995 and then went to Penn State University where he was a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering from 1995-2006.^[1]

Tikalsky has received numerous awards and recognitions including Senior Research Fellow with the Czech National Academy of Sciences; Senior Research Fellow for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Fellow of the American Concrete Institute; Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers; Utah Engineering Educator of the Year;

Best Paper/Presentation-2011 International Conference on Durability of Building Materials and Components, Porto, Portugal.^[2]

Tikalsky's research highlights includes concrete, engineering materials and structural deterioration.^[3]
