Peaxy is an industrial data analytics company that aims to help companies generate value from their unstructured data. Peaxy’s applications track industrial assets throughout the lifecycle, providing solutions for condition-based maintenance, document tracking, advanced visualizations, and anomaly detection. Peaxy was co-founded by Manuel Terranova, Federico Faggin, Francesco Lacapra, Joe Lin, and Luciano Dalle Ore in San Jose, California, in 2012. Peaxy was incorporated in 2012 and is located in San Jose, with offices in Stockholm, Sweden[1], and Torino, Italy. In 2016, the company won notoriety for successfully building one of the first commercially viable digital twins for General Electric. At scale, the digital twin (compound simulation) computed physics and economic models, enabling the generation of proposals for combined cycle power plants in minutes, instead of the weeks and months traditionally required. This solution was presented at the November 2017 “China for the World” Belt & Road Forum, co-hosted by GE and Caixin Media, at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.[2] The company has now branched into renewables, other industrial rotating equipment and defense.
