Orfanidis was elected as a Deputy Registered Officer of the Australian Greens in 2018[2]. As a community leader, Orfanidis has volunteered domestically with organisations such as the Children's Medical Research Institute in large nation-wide campaigns such as Jeans for Genes Day, most recently as the State Manager of Victoria in 2016, and is currently a Brand Ambassador of Thankyou Co.. Orfanidis has also volunteered internationally with organisations such as The Hellenic Management Association (EEDE)[3] and the United Nations, most recently as the Executive Marketing and Philanthropy Manager in 2017, whilst implementing technologies such as Salesforce's CRM software.
