Pierangelo Summa (19 August 1947 – 15 July 2015) also known as Piero Summa, was an Italian theatre director, mask sculptor, and puppeteer.[1] Mostly known for his Commedia dell'arte masks,[2][3] he first started his activity by the creation of a few puppet troupes, one of which was La Gabbia dei Giupitt that animated a TV show, Il Giudice di Rocca Storta, on Swiss television RSI, 1977.[4] He also continued his work as a puppeteer in France[5].
