Planetisation or human planetisation is an evolutionary theoretical model of thought according to which humanity is irresistibly driven towards a global form of socialisation (collectivisation). The term planetisation was coined by the French thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. He claims a deterministic megatrend inherent in the plan of evolution itself. The earth and the "human matter" populating it are irrevocably exposed to this process, the drift to the collective.
