Prorize LLC is a revenue management and pricing analytics company based in Atlanta Georgia. Founded in 2006, the company helps clients by suggesting optimum price points that are calculated through advanced analytics and data management. Prorize is a provider of pricing science for the rental industry, including self-storage, senior living, hospitality and apartments, and also provides services for the gaming, resort, airline, high-tech manufacturing, media, online retailing, and distribution industries.

In 2017, Holiday Retirement^[1] and Prorize LLC were awarded with the Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences ^[2] for their use of operations research (O.R.) to improve the pricing model for more than 300 senior living communities. The revenue management system developed by Prorize enabled a consistent and proactive pricing process across Holiday, while simultaneously providing optimal pricing recommendations for each unit in every one of their communities. As a result of their joint efforts, Prorize and Holiday Retirement were able to consistently raise revenues by over 10%. ^[3]^[4]

Prorize was founded in 2006 by Dr. Ahmet Kuyumcu, who founded the company after serving as Chief Pricing Scientist of Zilliant ^[5], a company that produces and markets software based on machine learning and predictive analytics techniques to deliver prescriptive intelligence for customers. Prior to joining Zilliant, Dr. Kuyumcu was a scientists at Manugistics (now JDA), where he led the design and implementation of market-response modeling and optimization algorithms for a variety of Fortune 500 firms.

Dr. Ahmet Kuyumcu holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Operations Research from Texas A&M University, and is considered a leading expert on pricing science, having authored and published several articles in leading professional journals and having been cited over 200 times in academic journals^[6] . He also taught graduate level graduate-level pricing and revenue management at the University of Texas at Austin ^[7]. Dr. Kuyumcu served on the editorial board of the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management ^[8] , and the board of Revenue Management and Pricing section of Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences.^[9]
