Quanta (ezine)

Quanta is the name of an online magazine of science fiction and fantasy produced by Daniel K. Appelquist between October 1989 and July 1995.

It contains contributions by authors including:

  • Jason Snell
  • Jacqueline Carey
  • Sonia Orin Lyris
  • Bruce Sterling Woodcock
  • Tom Maddox
  • Rupert Goodwins
  • H. Palmer Hall

While originally hosted at Carnegie-Mellon University, the archive at that location only extends to December 1993, after which the archive was moved to etext.org, and has been preserved by archive.org. Although all issues are present at the latter location, the 'browse by issues' list only shows items through January 1995; however, the July 1995 issue can be accessed via a direct link.

In addition, the index at the CMU archive does not include the October 1990 submission "Inside a White Dwarf" by Bruce Altner, which is present in the etext.org archive.
