DescriptionIn concept QuickBuild is similar to Jenkins or CruiseControl. This is a self-hosted system that allows running jobs in distributed environment. It provides support for many version control systems like Git or Perforce. It can execute defined workflows sequentially but also in parallel on many systems.[3] What is unique to QuickBuild is the clean and simple UI[4] but on the other hand very powerful configurability where every aspect of the workflow can be scripted in Groovy[5]HistoryQuickBuild derives from open source project, [https://sourceforge.net/p/luntbuild/wiki/Home/ LuntBuild]. LuntBuild originates in 2004[6] but then its development nearly stopped in 2006[7]. It has been abandoned in 2009[8].
