'Rakesh Aryasomayajula (born 1985) is a Indian technology entrepreneur, investor, engineer, writer and philanthropist. He is currently co-founder, CTO of Swipay Corp; co-founder, CTO of Swipesumo Technologies Private Limited & former (co-founder) CEO of Defcon Integrated Systems (now part of major defence conglomerate). He is rumoured to be working on a classified side project titled "Project White Ruby" - A stealth startup dealing with design & development of advanced-yet-affordable electric propulsion commercial aircraft in association with Boeing. {{AFC submission|t||ts=20181127111554|u=Sravanig365|ns=118|demo=}}Early Life & EducationRakesh was born in 1985, in Chodavaram, a small village near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. His parents are Revathy, a homemaker, and Prasada Rao Aryasomayajula, a High Court Advocate. He has an elder sister, Lakshmi (born 1979). Soon-after he was relocated to Hyderabad, Telangana State. During his childhood, Rakesh was an avid reader. His childhood reading included Isaac Asimov, Stephen Hawking, R.K. Narayan & Hermann Hesse. One of his favourite books is "Siddhartha: A Novel", by Hermann Hesse, which led him for "unending quest for knowledge and a deeper understanding of himself." At age 11, he developed an interest in computing when he first saw a HP Pavilion with Windows OS at his friends house. Thereafter, he taught himself computer programming and the next year he borrowed some money from his father, on condition to return it back within one year with minimum bank interest, to assemble a PC of his technical specifications. He completed his schooling from Good Samaritan High School and in 2003 he enrolled in bachelors program with Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering department.
