Raksha Ramaiah is an Indian politician, social entrepreneur, educationist & a philanthropist born and brought up in Bengaluru. Before being appointed as the National In-charge for Indian Youth Congress Social Media in 2017[1], Raksha Ramaiah has served the Indian National Congress in various capacities. He was elected as the Vice President of Bengaluru Urban District Youth Congress, worked as the Digital Strategy Coordinator for National Students Union of India. Besides these, he is also the chief coordinator for “Nanna Karnataka”[2] – an initiative to promote political awareness among the youth of Karnataka. Further, as a young social entrepreneur he has promoted many social activities like plantation drive, mass marriages, blood donation camps, free health check-up camps in rural & urban Bengaluru. He also organized All India Blind Football Tournament in 2017, which was first of its kind in the country. Personal LifeRaksha Ramaiah was born on 25 June 1985 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is the son of M R Seetharam who is a former minister in the Government of Karnataka.He completed his schooling from St. Joseph's School. He holds a graduate degree in B.com from St. Joseph's College in Bengaluru & a post graduate degree in "Master in Business" from Cardiff Univeristy [2]in United Kingdom.
