Rakuten US (R USA), based in San Mateo,.^[1] is a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Rakuten. It is the Americas headquarter of of Rakuten, which holds subsidiaries mostly based in USA, Canada, and Brazil.

Rakuten US's principal U.S. businesses include Ebates, Rakuten.com, Rakuten Linkshare (renamed to Rakuten Marketing), Rakuten Intelligence, Kobo_Inc, OverDrive,_Inc..
