It was created by Miranda Qu & Charlwin Mao in June 2013. By June 2018, Xiaohongshu has over 100 million registered users and reached 30 million monthly active users, with 60% of them being under 30 years old. The app allows users to post and share product reviews, travel blogs and lifestyle stories via short videos and photos.[1] Xiaohongshu has become a gathering place for 100 million young users, a sharing platform for everyone, including celebrities, popular KOLs, and bloggers.
