Red Hot Chili Peppers 2019 World TourRed Hot Chili Peppers 2019 World Tour is a current concert tour by Red Hot Chili Peppers. The tour followed band's almost 2 year The Getaway World Tour touring circle 2016-2018 after 10 months of break while band was working on their 12th studio album. The tour features headlining concerts and festival ones as well. It will include the band's first ever performances in Hobart, Hunter Valley, Geelong and Egypt. The band will perform at Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka and Tokyo for the first time since 2011 and is expected to perform at Rock in Rio in Brazil. The band gave a performance at 61st Grammy Awards ceremony where they were joined by a rapper Post Malone. Inbetween touring, the band is working on their 12th studio album which is said to be released in 2019. Tour overviewSong selections for the setlists have not changed drasticly from the previous 2 tours. Setlists are consisting of 16 songs. Like it started at The Getaway Tour "Can't Stop" or "Around the World" are the first song to open the concert after intro jam. "By the Way" is the last song to be performed in the main set while in encore "Goodbye Angels" and "Give It Away" are most of the time the last songs. On February 20, 2019 at concert in Sydney "Dreams of a Samurai" was performed instead of "Goodbye Angels". On January 9, 2019, band performed "This Is The Place" for the first time since 2003 at secret concert in Microsoft Theater. "Throw Away Your Television" returned on a setlist at concert in Hobart on February 17, 2019 for the first time since 2014 concert in Puerto Rico and "Fortune Faded" was performed for the first time since 2007 and first time in the current line-up at concert in Sydney on February 19, 2019. After not being played during The Getaway World Tour, "Strip My Mind" and "Hump De Bump" are still making their way to the setlists after return on the setlists for South American Lollapalooza shows in March 2018. Tour saw rare performances of "Police Helicopter" and "Emit Remmus" at Malibu Love Sesh benefit concert on January 13, 2019.
