Rem Bakamus ( Born December, 7 1993) is an American basketball coach, and is currently a graduate assistant for the Baylor University men's basketball team. Playing CareerBakamus grew up in Longview, Washington where he played high school basketball at Mark Morris High School for his father Bill Bakamus. His senior year he was the GSHL MVP, and a WIBCA All State selection. After High School, he played basketball at Gonzaga University from 2012-2017, totaling 132 wins during his career. Bakamus was a part of Gonzaga's first ever Final Four and National Championship appearance. He is a five time WCC regular season and conference tournament champion, and went to three Sweet Sixteen, two Elite Eight, and one Final Four. Bakamus plans to coach basketball at the Division 1 level. Bakamus played with a lot of professional basketball players during his career, but the most notable are Kelly Olynyk, Domantas Sabonis, Zach Collins, Kevin Pangos, Elias Harris, and Nigel Williams-Goss. Coaching CareerBakamus lives in Waco, Texas where he works with the Baylor men's basketball team under coach Scott Drew, assisting with workouts, film, and other duties. He is currently getting his masters in Sports Pedagogy. Articles
