He is best known as the lead singer of the American fashion-art rock group, Palaye Royale, which he founded with his brothers, Emerson Barrett and Sebastian Danzig, in 2008, although the band was known then as Kropp Circle. Leith uses her middle name in place of his surname, Kropp, on stage. Early LifeBorn in Las Vegas, Nevada, Remington grew up playing music from a very young age. He and his brothers have been described on multiple occasions as "playing music since before they could ride bikes". Musical CareerLeith, his elder brother Sebastian and younger brother Emerson formed the band Kropp Circle in Toronto. Leith, at the time, was only 14. However, in the summer of 2011, the group changed their name to Palaye Royale, a reference to the dance hall in Toronto, Palais Royale, where their grandparents met.[1] In 2012, the group released their first single, titled Morning Light. A year later, they released their first EP. The EP contains six tracks, but none these made it to their final album. In 2016, the group released their first album, Boom Boom Room Side A, through Sumerian Records, whom the band had signed with the year before. Two years later, in November of 2018, the second album was released, under the name Boom Boom Room Side B. Leith and the group are currently on a world tour titled The Final Boom.[2] AdditionalLeith's voice was used in the 2017 movie American Satan [3], as Johnny Faust's singing voice (portrayed by Andy Biersack of American metal band, Black Veil Brides). Some of the band's music was featured in the movie, like "Ma Cherie" (instrumental version) and "Mr. Doctor Man". Leith also provided the vocals for the movie's fictional band, The Relentless, in songs such as "Let Him Burn", "Forgive me Mother", and "Me Against the Devil". The group's single "Get Higher" was featured in a 2014 commercial for the Samsung Galaxy Note. He signed as a model with Ford Models.[4] ReferencesKropp Circle: music interview.[5] Palaye Royale Wikipedia Page.[6] Kropp Circle biography.[7] Kropp Circle: who they really are.[8] Famous Birthdays: Remington Leith.[9] Backstage with Palaye Royale.[10] Who is Remington Leith?
