Corporations are meant to function as human beings. They can perform nearly all activities that human beings can partake, say, suing people and organizations, selling and buying properties and also getting sued. While Americans made the fourteenth amendment rules to help them protect the rights of fellow citizens, others are using it on corporates. Just like some people, corporates are exempted from paying taxes. In the documentary, individuals evaluated the corporation under the DSM-VI category to find out if they had any symptoms of the disorder. The signs under assessment were the inability to perpetuate human relationships, overlooking of feelings towards people, being reckless, careless and breaking laws intentionally, and lack of expressing or feeling guilt. A corporation is majorly concerned with making money regardless of the sources or the effects and is also less concerned about the surrounding. The piece mentions a few offensive operations that corporations undertake for their benefit. In times of crisis, they take advantage of the situation to fill money in their banks. For instance, during the Second World War, the International Business Machines (IBM) agreed to generate genocides to the Nazis, under Adolf Hitler. Their main business plan is to use the opportunity present in devastating times. They neither bother about the earth, water, human beings or the environment since they can be turned to wealth. They have privatized these resources. Governments, on the other hand, have permitted the corporations to pollute our atmosphere because, in their opinion, carbon dioxide cannot be disposed. Corporations rely on human psychology to gain. Psychologically, they change us through advertisements and coerce us to purchase their products and services.
