Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat single-handedly fought with the Chinese in 1962 Indo-China war. For three days, this brave soldier fought against the Chinese, and killed Chinese soldiers. Today, our untold hero is really forgotten, just not in his own state but everywhere. The film is being made under the JaswantSinghRawat(JSR) banner, actor-director-writer Avinash Dhyani and team are working really hard to recreate the history of Indo-China war 1962. The film team began shooting from the first week of February in some of Uttarakhand's most photogenic and untouched areas of Jaunsar-Bawar, such as Bairat-Khai, Tapovan area, FRI and in and around Dehradun as well. The lead roles in the film are being played by actors Avinash Dhyani (His last film was fredrick, which released in 2017, directed by Rajesh Butalia), Virendra Saxena, Alka Amin, Mukesh Tiwari, Shishir Sharma, Gireesh Sehdev and Ishtaq Khan." Avinash Dhyani has done a lot of research to make this film. His late father inspired him to make this film and yes the dream project is going to be complete soon.
