Ross Waiton (born 8th January 1979 in North Shields) is an English actor. He has appeared in film, TV and theatre, including at the National Theatre, the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Career Waiton trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 2000. He went straight into the RSC production of The Duchess of Malfi and later appeared in Antony & Cleopatra and Much Ado About Nothing. He first worked at the National Theatre in Marianne Elliott's production of Saint Joan in 2007 and has since appeared in seven further NT productions, including the role of Roger Shears in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.
