Sanctuary Studios is a destination recording facility located in Albany in The Bahamas. The studio is run by Ann Mincieli, Alicia Keys's engineer and studio coordinator and owner of New York-based Jungle City Studios, as well as Charles Goldstuck, founder and co-chairman of Hitco Entertainment. The Studio was designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels of Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) alongside U.K. acoustic designer White Mark Limited. Circular in shape, Sanctuary Studios includes a main control room, live room with two vocal booths and five smaller studios. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Albany’s mega-yacht marina, the Live Room connects to the Monster Energy Green Room with a kitchen, seating and dining areas, a Moët vending machine and an outdoor courtyard with a hot tub and mural painting from Monster Energy street artist Kelly “Risk” Graval.
