Sanja Mirchandani has served as the CEO and President of Commvault Systems, an information management company, since Feb. 5, 2019. Its headquarters is in Tinton Falls, N.J. [1] Early life and careerMirchandani obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Drew University in 1986, before earning an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. Early in his career, he spent more than 11 years at Microsoft - last serving as a regional vice president, enterprise services and president, Asia Pacific. Mirchandani joined EMC Corp., in June 2006, where he spent more than seven years. Over the course of his time there, he moved into three roles: COO global centers of excellence; chief information officer; and, finally, executive vice president, global enterprise services. Before joining Puppet, he served a little more than two years as a corporate senior vice president & general manager – Asia Pacific Japan - at VMware. He joined Puppet in May of 2016 as president and COO before being elevated to CEO from September 2016 until late January 2019.
