TV shows Saoussen maalej started in television in the TV show Chams Alik on Canal+ Horizons: where she was hostess with Nejib Belkadhi, from 1999 to 2001, year when the TV show was cancelled after the channel closed. She then became hostess on the talk show Ahla Snine of which Ilyes Gharbi was the editor in chief, aired on Canal 21. Afterwards, from 2009 to 2010, she officiated in the TV show Ness Nessma on Nessma with the host Fawez Ben Tmessek ; where she interpreted many fictive characters like Sassia, Anissa Poussette and Madama Gabsi in satiric and parodic chronicles.
