Korbut began his career as a journalist at Public Television in Russia and later contributed to numerous print and online magazines including OUT[2], Filmmaker Magazine, [https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Сноб_(журнал) Snob], and Medium. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the Far Eastern Federal University and a Masters degree at the University of Valencia. In 2012, he moved to New York City where he received a full scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School. In 2013, Korbut collaborated with Louis Vuitton on Reconstruction 3:0[3] during the New York Fashion Week. His U.S. debut as an actor was in the play 'Crematorium'[4], directed by Alexander Kargaltsev. Other acting work includes Ocean’s Eight and Occupied[5]. In 2018, Korbut produced and danced in the music video ‘Mandarin’[6] that was in the official selection at the Woodstock Film Festival.
