He is a member and leader of South Korea boy group Seventeen. Early LifeS.Coups born on August 8, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea. His family consists of a father and a grandmother and an older brother. In 2010, On his way back home, S.Coups was casted by Pledis Entertainment staff and become a Pledis trainee. After moving to Seoul, he entered School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) and graduated in February 13, 2014, majoring in Acting. Career2010–2015: Pre - DebutS.Coups is one of the original Pledis Boys. He was supposed to debut with NU'EST. Before Seventeen created, he (alongside Woozi) was formally a member of "Tempest" that supposed to debut in 2012/2013. He was trained to be on the vocal line. But then, he was interested in Rap and trained to become a Rapper. During his training days, S.Coups was a backup dancer for his lable-mate senior; After School, Hello Venus and Orange Caramel. S.Coups starred in music videos for NU’EST’s “Face”, After School’s “Wonder Boy” and Happy Pledis’ “Love Letter”. He also appeared as a guest rapper on Orange Caramel’s song “Superwoman”, and performed at “The country’s best hip hop concert” in December 2014. 2015–present{{Main|Seventeen (South Korean band)}}In May 2015, S.Coups made his debut as Seventeen member. He managed to become the leader of Hip - Hop Unit and leader of entire group. On December 2015, S.Coups with Woozi and Vernon released a collaboration single featuring Ailee entitled “Q&A“.
