Seifu Nigussie Tulu born in Kereta, Koye Akale kebele, Kuyu woreda, North Shoa zone, Oromia region, Ethiopia. He was born from his father Nigussie Tulu Wodajo and his mother Ayelech Leta Wekjira. He has three brothers and three sisters. He went primary school in Seyoum Demissow primary school and secondary school in Gerbe Guracha Senior Secondary school. He graduated from Wolaita Sodo University in Bachelor of Nursing in 2009 and assigned as an Assistant Lecturer in Samara University. After one year of service, he started his master's program at Jimma University, Ethiopia and graduated in 2012. Currently, he is attending his Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado Denver, USA.
