Seungmin Ham, also known as Jimmy Ham, (born 26 August 1977) is a South Korean molecular biologist and post-graduate tutor at Monash University. Ham completed his PhD titled A new understanding of the molecular pathway in human keloid fibroblast and development of a novel treatment in 2018.

Education and Career

Ham completed a course in software development prior to completing his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology in South Korea at Chungang University, where he decided to pursue the molecular science field.

He decided to further his studies in Melbourne, Australia at The University of Melbourne where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Drug Evaluation and Pharmaceutical Science in 2007.

Ham completed another Graduate Diploma at Monash University in Reproductive Sciences in 2009. Following this, Ham began his career and Masters by research at Monash University and Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research (now known as Hudson Institute of Medical Research) under Dr. Kristy Brown and Dr. Sarah Meachem. Ham’s research focused on Breast Cancer Research.
