Seven Buddhas Sutra is also called the Buddha Speaks of Seven Buddhas Sutra.[1] This [2] is not yet available in English, it is in the Chinese Mahayana [3] T01n0002. This single fascicle text was translated into Chinese by [4] of the Song dynasty. This [5] sutra is also extant in the [6], Mahaapadaanasuttanta.[7]. Among the 2920 Mahayana Buddhist canonical sermons, all are of critical importance to Buddhists.[8]. This scripture is one of five sutras where the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, described seven Buddhas of antiquity. Among the five sutras, Seven Buddhas Sutra ranks third in length. It summarizes the first half of the longest of these five sutras, the [9].
