Shawn Brown has been the singer in a number of bands, among which are Swiz and Jesuseater and is currently involved with Dag Nasty and Red Hare.

Browns first band Dag Nasty formed in 1985. He was replaced by Dave Smalley before the recording of Dag Nastys first album "Can I Say".^[1] Brown recorded some demos with the band before that, which were released as "Dag With Shawn" in 2010. The songs included are essentially the same as the ones on "Can I Say". 2012 saw a reunion with the original lineup of Dag Nasty.^[2] Originally supposed to be only one concert in support of the upcoming documentary "Salad Days", the band decided to occasionally tour over the next years. A single came out in 2016. ^[3]
