The Slug Nebula is a luminous gas nebula, an enormous Lyman-alpha nebula (ELAN) in intergalactic space, discovered in 2014, extending some {{convert|2|Mly|km mi|abbr=on|lk=on}} long, some {{convert|10|Gly|km mi|abbr=on}} distant, in a galaxy protocluster. It forms part of a galaxy filament, thus a component of the cosmic web.
