SoftwareX is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal that publishes papers from within and across subject domains such as those represented within the broad thematic areas below:

Mathematical and Physical Sciences;
Environmental Sciences;
Medical and Biological Sciences;
Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.

The journal is published by Elsevier, and its current Editors-in-Chief are Dr. Kate Keahey, Dr. Randall Sobie and Dr. David Wallom. The journal has an official GitHub repository^[1] where the software/code of all publications are archived.

As this is an open access journal, all articles are permanently and immediately free for everyone to read and download.
