Sovcombank PJSC is a Russian universal bank with head office in Kostroma. Full name – Public Joint-Stock Company Sovcombank. General license No. 963 for banking operations issued by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Licenses for securities operations and depositary activities issued by the Federal Commission on Securities Market.[1] Nowadays it is in the top 20 Russian banks in terms of net worth, has a network of more than 2500 branches and offices in 75 regions of Russia. The Bank is one of the leading arrangers in the bond market, is in the top 10 auto loan banks, and also ranks third in terms of loans to the Russian Federation's constituent entities and municipalities.[2] In 2014-2018 Sovcombank closed the deals on acquisition and integration of several banks, including GE Money Bank, ICICI Bank, Garanti Bank, Metcombank (Vologda) and Rosevrobank, as well as bought out the retail business of the Russian subsidiary bank of the Scandinavian Nordea group. In 2017, the bank introduced a new product to the Russian credit market – "Halva" installment card, which combines features of classic credit cards and consumer credits. Sovcombank's reporting under IFRS is audited by Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm. In its day-to-day operations and strategic development, Sovcombank follows the mission statement: "To promote the development of small and medium-sized cities in Russia by providing access to high-quality banking services to a wide range of individuals."
