释义 |
In February 2017, the Coalition to Reduce Spending launched the first-ever database tracking federal spending votes in real time. The tool is hosted publicly at SpendingTracker.org and cross-references Congressional Budget Office scores and public voting record to assign each member of Congress a unique "number," or total new spending he or she is responsible for. The tool has been profiled by FreedomWorks, Watchdog.org,[1] the Cato Institute's Daily Podcast,[2] the Atlas Network,[3] the Heritage Foundation,[4]and others.
