St. Agatha is an upcoming psychological thriller directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, the director of SAW 2, SAW 3 and SAW 4 and written by Sara Sometti Michaels, Shaun Fletcher, Andy Demetrio and Clint Sears.

Plot

Set in the 1950s in small-town Georgia, a pregnant young woman named Agatha seeks refuge in a convent. What first starts out as the perfect place to have a child turns into a dark layer where silence is forced, ghastly secrets are masked, and every bit of will power Agatha has is tested as she learns the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people that lurk inside its halls.

Production

The film began principal photography in Madison, Georgia on February 9, 2017.^[1] Production concluded on March 10, 2017 in Ruthledge, Georgia after 20 filming days.

Release

In September 2018 it was announced that Uncork'd Entertainment acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film, with a planned release it theatrically at the beginning of 2019.^[2]
