Staty is a UK based web site^[1] which provides standard surveys and results on celebrities, journalists, leaders, controversial characters, up coming election candidates and award winners. Results are broken down by demographics and this process is described as "Crowd sourcing public opinions. Find out what people like you really think." Surveys and results are free to users. The results can also be freely shared so long as appropriate reference is given to www.staty.org.

The users are asked to state their opinion on a scale 1 to 5 for questions 1 to 6. The results are anonymous but are broken down by group, determined in question 7. The group includes age, gender, geographical continent and income. Users are asked to choose the group to which they most closely identify. Therefore the group chosen may not be their current group or real group.

To ensure reliable results, 1 response per person and prevent bots from taking surveys, users must be signed in to a Google account, they must provide an email address and complete a recaptur form. Staty is a UK limited company and a registered trademark. The web site is hosted by Weebly and is powered by Google forms and Google spreadsheets. The work is the responsibility of the company.
