Commander Javier graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and received his commission through Reserve Officers' Training Corps in 2004. He serves as a commanding Naval engineer for U.S. John McCain.
He also holds a master's degree in Public Administration from North Carolina State University and is currently working on a doctorate in electrical engineering.
Javier's spouse is currently Rose and two sons Marc and Michael Javier.
