Elected in 2016 to represent the 24th district, Marino serves approximately 90,000 (C) residents of Harrison Township as well as portions of Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan and Macomb Township, Michigan.

Prior to taking office as a state representative, Marino was XXXXX to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners on November 2, 2014 XXXXX from 2014 - 2016 a county commissioner for Macomb County, Michigan in Harrison Townshi XXXX.

Marino attended St. Germaine Elementary School. He has a three degree from Western Michigan University where he played Men's Lacrosse and served as Chairman of the Associated Students of Michigan State University from 2011-2012.

Prior to his election as a state representative, Marino was a township supervisor in Harrison Township. He is also a small business owner. A Roman Catholic, Forlini is a member of the Knights of Columbus and has also served as a youth co-leader in the Catholic Church.^{[citation needed]} Forlini and his wife are the parents of three children.
