Major arms of Striker Entertainment was as a results of nation building through the means of music bodies such as Distribution, Events, Stem Marketing and Media. The label is known for their focus on discovered talents artist development for acts such as Hip Hop artist, Bigtril and Afro Beat/Pop star, Leila Kayondo. HistoryStriker Entertainment started their journey in (2012) by John Obas Isokpehi, C.E.O and Founder[1] who lives in Ikoyi, Lagos State, Nigeria. Soon after, the label built an office, and recording studio in Bunga, Soya Road, Kampala - Uganda. It is generally regarded as one of the biggest and most successful indigenous urban record labels in Africa. John Obas Isokpehi was quoted saying that "Striker Entertainment’s philosophy is more about 'building the artist up.' It takes time to develop an artist. That's not usually how things are done [with labels these days], but it makes way more sense.” The label is known for working with popular African and international musical artists, deejays, events and marketing organisers, managements for artists such as Seyi Shay, Davido, Harrysong as well as discovering and developing new acts.[2] ArtistsMusicians
