| 释义 | Synastry was formed in 2005 by founding members Jimmy Anastasopoulos, Kegham Kesserian, Garen Vartivarian and Pavel Ikonomov. Synastry was a death/ industrial metal band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As of 2009, Synastry have been on indefinite hiatus. Members: Jimmy Anastasopoulos(vocals) Kegham Kesserian (drums) Garen Vartivarian (bass) Pavel Ikonomov (guitar) The band was active between August 2005 and October 2009, touring throughout Canada, predominantly in the Quebec, Ontario and maritime provinces. Commercial releases: Synastry EP (2006): Released independently was a 5 track EP including the songs "Pallets of my new world", "Visions of anger", "To catch a glimpse", "In your eyes" and "Within dreams". The EP was produced by Kevin Jardine at Uplift Productions in Montreal and sold during Synastry's early concert schedule. Blind Eyes Bleed(2008) A full length album was to follow, released on the Ontario label Year Of The Sun records. Blind Eyes Bleed had 12 tracks plus an intro track. The release was supported by a cross Canada tour, a music video and video blogs. Johan Liiva (Arch Enemy) provided guest vocals on the album version of "Visions of Anger", as did Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy, The Agonist) for the ballad "In your eyes". Production of Blind Eyes Bleed was again handled by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope) at Uplift Productions. Our Memetic Imprints (2009/unreleased) The second full length album by Synastry went unreleased. It featured 12 tracks, with guest guitar work from Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and J-F Dagenais (Kataklysm). The album was produced by J-F Dagenais, with additional production and programming by Christian Donaldson and Kevin Jardine. Jef Fortin (Anonymous) mastered it. |
