Local elections in Taguig were held on May 13, 2019 within the Philippine general election. The voters elected for the elective local posts in the city: the mayor, vice mayor, two District representatives, and councilors, eight in each of the city's two legislative districts.

Candidates

Representative, 1st District (Taguig-Pateros)

Incumbent Congressman Arnel Cerafica is term-limited and is running for Mayor. His brother, Allan Cerafica, a former Barangay Chairman of Palingon-Tipas is his party's nominee.[1]

Former Senator and Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano will be his opponent.[2]

Incumbent Pia Cayetano is running for Senator.[3] Her sister-in-law, incumbent Mayor Lani Cayetano is her party's nominee.[4]
