Team Arrow Racing Association is a solar racing car team based in Brisbane, Australia. Their vehicles are primarily made for competing in the World Solar Challenge in Australia, but have also competed in solar challenges around the world. The team consists of students and industry professionals with a passion to develop safe an efficient solar car technologies. 

The World Solar Challenge

The World Solar Challenge is a biennial solar car race spanning 3022 kilometers of the Australian outback from Darwin to Adelaide.[1]

Cars for the race have three different classes as follows.[2]

ChallengerSingle seater solar cars built to be highly aerodynamic and energy efficient with the aim of completing the race as quickly and efficiently as possible.
CruiserMulti seat solar cars built to match the practicality of regular cars, while still being highly energy efficient.
AdventureA non-competitive class allowing cars from previous races, which don't meet new regulations, to compete.

Arrow 1

Arrow 1 was the first car built by Team Arrow. It is a single-seater challenger car, built to make the teams debut in the 2015 World Solar Challenge. [3]

Arrow STF

Arrow 1 was the second car built by Team Arrow. It is a two-seater challenger car, first raced in the 2017 World Solar Challenge.[4]
