The Cure are known for their gothic style of music. Robert Smith is the frontman of the band, along with other members that join and leave the Cure. The following list are the Cure's concert tours from the late 1970's to 2018.

1970's

1980's

The Top Tour (1984)

In April 1984, The Cure embarked on the Top World Tour in promotion for the Top album. Smith, Tolhurst and Anderson brought Phil Thornalley and Porl Thompson on board during the tour. They visited Europe, Australasia, Asia and North America.

Summer European Warm Up Tour (1985)

Prior the release of the Head on the Door album, the Cure played at European festivals throughout June, July and August. This tour marks the return of Simon Gallup (bassist of 1979-1982) after he decided to rejoin the band in February. During this tour, the Cure played unreleased songs from their next album. They visited Spain, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and Finland.

The Head Tour (1985)

The Cure promoted their album The Head on the Door. During this tour, they toured Europe in September, North America in October and Europe again in November to December. The Cure played concerts in England, USA, Canada, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy.

1990's

The Pleasure Trips (1990)

In June, July and August, The Cure toured Europe in promotion for their remix album, Mixed Up. The first concert (Paris) of the tour was free because it was Perry's debut performance with the band. Perry had previously worked with the Cure as a guitar technician and was taught keyboards by Robert's younger sister, Janet (spouse of Porl Thompson). In September, The Cure played one concert in USA.

During the European leg of the Wish tour, Simon suffered from pleurisy and had to temporarily stop touring. Roberto Soave replaced him during November. This tour marks the last tour of Porl Thompson (he would rejoin in 2005) and Boris Williams (did a final concert in 1993).

Great Xpectations Concert (1993)

The Cure played a set as part of the Great Xpectations festival in Finsbury Park. This would be Boris Williams' final concert with the band. Due to Porl's absence, Perry took over as the lead guitarist. This was their only concert that year.

2010's

Reflections Tour (2011)

In 2011, The Cure played their first three albums live in their entirety. This tour marks the return of former keyboardists, Lol Tolhurst (left in 1989) and Roger O'Donnell (left in 2005). The Cure played in Australia and in USA. During the concert, the band would play an encore after finishing the Faith set.

The Cure also played in Bestival 2011 (without Lol Tolhurst). Due to Porl's departure, The Cure didn't have a lead guitarist. Robert took over as lead guitarist. A day after the concert, Roger confirmed that he would officially be rejoining The Cure.
