When a Victoria College School school bus carrying 37 students and 7 staff members headed to the Dead Sea region was swept in floods which resulted in 20 deaths and multiple injuries. [1] The incident brought immense criticism to the school which allowed the field trip under unstable weather, and for changing the field trip trek from Al Azraq region which was approved in the official documents to the dead sea region wothout informing parent or officials. The documents also revealed that the approved number of students was 30 students and not 37. [2] |
