The Dessert King — is a Ukrainian confectionery show broadcast on 1+1. The winner of the confectionery show to receive the title of King of Desserts and the main prize.

About the project

The new 1+1 confectionery show introduces talented Ukrainian confectioners who compete for the King of Desserts. The judges of the project, which will assess the confectionery skills of the participants, have become real professionals in the culinary and restaurant business. In the "King of Desserts" realm, cooks will be tested, competing in the creation of spectacular confectionery and proving their talent and skill.

Stefan Whitematadan is a chef of Michelin-starred European restaurants, as well as a five-star restaurant Kyiv Hotel InterContinental, a indigenous Parisian who has been working in Kiev for 15 years; Tetyana Verbitskaya is the founder of the most authoritative confectionery school in Ukraine, the Kiev International Culinary Academy, the author of the book "Elegance and Oven"; as well as the head of the Confectionery Association of Ukraine - Kirill Smiyan, a businessman and founder of the popular confectionery chain.
