Started in 2015 by the band’s first two members, E. & Jack, The Happy Yew is a Garage Rock band with roots in Folk Punk. They invited Brooks to the band but shortly kicked him out, replacing him with one Jonathan Sutphin, then inviting Brooks back to the band and removing Jonathan. Ben and Dylan, the former drummer of the band, were added after a show The Happy Yew played for E’s birthday. Due to complications Dylan was forced to leave the band on October 16th 2018. His spot was filled by Ethan Taylor and so is the current lineup of the band. |
