The I See You Company, LLC is an American Manufacturer and retailer of birthday and celebratory candles and I See You® accessories. Their main product - The I See You® Candle is the first ever bow and candle combo kit. Their products are sold online and in various retailers across the nation. The company is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. History and Life Events:The I See You Company started in Nashville, Tennessee when a sister’s, Ashley Beckham & Amy Di Cesare, were given the idea to create the I See You® Candle from their father’s (Jim) in a random act of kindness. In 2015 their father wanted to give a cup of tea as a thank you to an employee and tell her he appreciated everything she was doing. Not having a way to dress up that cup of tea like he wanted, he simply gave it to her as is. She was surprised and asked how he knew to give her tea and not coffee. He answered, “Because I See You!” In that moment she teared up and said, “No one sees me.” This impactful moment would lead to a conversation with his daughters that would set The I See You Company on its path. That evening, after sharing this experience he asked his daughters, “When was the last time someone made you feel seen?” After discussing this, Jim shared that he had wanted to recognize his employee with a candle so she could make a wish, but he couldn’t find anything to put on the cup of tea. After two and half years of research and development, The I See You Company launched in January of 2018, with their introductory product, I See You® Candle. They believe that everyone deserves to be appreciated, recognized and celebrated for who they are, with a wish, because Wishes Aren't Just for Birthdays. They agreed the mission would be simple: to make the world a better place, one meaningful I See You Moment (with a wish) at a time! The company was self-funded with the help of their Mother and Father. In May of 2018, Ashley Beckham stepped into the company and assumed the position as CEO, while Amy took on the role as COO. Just one month later, they went from assembling and manufacturing the I See You® Candle at Ashley’s dining table to manufacturing it in a facility. Unexpectedly in September 2018, CEO & Co-Founder Ashley Beckham was diagnosed with breast cancer bringing life to a screeching halt as the family rallied in support as she underwent a bilateral mastectomy in October 2018. As of March 2019, with Ashley in the final recovery from her breast cancer journey, the company re-focused their strategic efforts to hit the ground running with even more drive and inspiration.
