The Kid Who Loved Christmas is a 1990 TV film directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman. It stars Michael Warren and Cicely Tyson, and was Sammy Davis Jr.'s last film.

Plot

A musician (Warren) struggles to adopt his foster son (Cameron) after his wife (Williams) dies in a car accident.

Production

The film was co-produced by Paramount and Eddie Murphy, with Murphy as executive producer. Jazz musician Stanley Clarke was the film's composer-arranger. It was shot in Chicago five months before the death of Sammy Davis Jr., who has a cameo role as a legendary piano man.[1]
