The Mortified Guide is a 6-episode comedic docu-series where adults share their actual teenage diaries, love letters, music and art on a stage in front of total strangers.[1] It was first launched on Netflix on 14 February 2018. The series was directed by Mike Mayer. It was an official selection of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.{{Citation needed|date=June 2018}} It is based on Mortified, a storytelling project created by David Nadelberg in 2002. Mortified produces stage shows in cities worldwide, TV (The Mortified Sessions, The Mortified Guide, Lief Dagbook), film (Mortified Nation), podcast, radio, and books. In addition to Mayer and Nadelberg, Neil Katcher is an executive producer.
