In 2004, Sandy Murray (saxophone) and TC Lin (trumpet, washtub bass) joined the group. The band released its first album, David Chen and the Muddy Basin Ramblers, in 2007[2]. Its second album, the Formosa Medicine Show [3], was released in 2013, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package[4] at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.[5]
